Get ready to rip through an urban environment on your skateboard in Skyline Skater. This is one of the more simplistic skateboarding games out there, but that does not keep it from being an enjoyable gaming experience. Your objective in this one is simple: maneuver your board through the city and skate as far as possible without wiping out. Skyline Skater may be simple in concept, however, your goal is not all that easy to accomplish.
There are so many obstacles to avoid that it is difficult even to get 100 meters down the road without crashing. You need to jump over the obstacles, and this is made even more difficult due to the fact that you are constantly skating forward. If you accidently ollie too far forward, you may find yourself falling through one of the numerous gaps that you encounter. Likewise, jumping an insufficient length is equally dangerous. If you land on any of the obstacles it’s game over. That means you’ll have to start over all the way at the beginning of the course.
The key to getting a good score in Skyline Skater is to master the distance of your ollies. If you can master this aspect of the game, you will be soaring over obstacles and gaps like a pro. Make sure that you use the arrow keys to control your speed prior to jumping. You can toggle these keys back prior to, and while, catching air.
