Pro Skate combines the fun of skateboarding games with retro side-scrolling action throughout multiple levels. You will start with six levels available, your goal being to make it to the end of each in one piece. It sounds simple enough, but there are different obstacles to avoid and plenty of jumps to make. Once you beat a level, the next is then unlocked. If you wreck, the level starts over, so shred carefully.
Pro Skate has a scoring system and provides you with only a limited amount of lives. At the beginning of each level, you start with a bonus that dwindles down while you play. The faster you finish, the bigger your bonus is at the end. There are also stars scattered throughout the level that you can collect to add to your total. The goal is to finish each level with the highest score possible.
Be careful not to speed through the levels too quickly. Once you wreck your skateboard three times, you’ll be out of lives. At this point, your game ends and you’ll have to start over. Getting a high score in Pro Skate is all about balancing skill with speed, so keep that in mind and you’ll be successful.

- Up arrow – speed up.
- Left arrow – lean back.
- Right arrow – lean forward.
- Down arrow – slow down.
- C – grab hold of board.
- Spacebar – jump/ollie.
