The object of the game is to get as many points as possible by collecting objects and making moves on your board. Start by kicking off for acceleration. Next, you’ll have to maneuver down a downhill street course. The course combined with the gameplay make Downhill Jam one of the most fun-filled skateboarding games.
There are many objects to collect as you make your way down the course. There are a number of different shoe boxes on the course, each of which has a different pair of shoes. Collect all six different kinds by the end of the level for a bonus. There are also numerous cash bundles to collect on the course.
There are lots of obstacles on the course, mainly cars. If you crash into something, you will wipe out and leave blood on the pavement. You do get to start again from where you wiped out. There are a lot of fun ramps on the course as well. You will have to make jumps off the ramps to collect some objects.
If you hit the jump button while you are on a ramp, you can soar through the air and collect a big air bonus.
You can also get bonuses for collecting combos of objects. Try to collect as many possible objects in a row as you can, and you will maximize your score.
