All Star Skate Park is a simple, yet totally fun online skateboarding game for skaters young and old. In the game, you’ll start with the option of picking between two radical skating characters. You can be a boy named Jake or a girl named Trixie. After you select your character, it’s time to hit the halfpipe. Players will spend the game going back and forth on the halfpipe, trying to land as many tricks as possible.
There are four different tricks to choose from, all of which are pulled off in the air (no grinds or stalls are available). The tricks are pretty good, too. You can execute backflips, kick flips, nose grabs and method airs. The key to scoring a lot of points in the game is to execute combos of the tricks. Land as many as three trick combos in a single jump for max points. Watch out, though, if you don’t finish a trick before you land the only trick you’ll be pulling off is an epic wipe out on the halfpipe.
One of the tricky parts of the game is controlling your speed/momentum to get big air. Use the space bar to build momentum and try not to let go of it until the last possible moment when you’re at the lip of the vert ramp. Failure to release the space bar in time will prevent you getting much height, so don’t wait too long. Execute as many tricks as you can before the clock winds down. If you get enough points you will advance to the next round.
